Coco Jones presents PinkPantheress with the Producer of the Year award at Billboard Women In Music 2024.

I am so thrilled to be here to present, what I personally think is an incredible award, Producer of the Year Award, OK, presented by Bose. And despite performers making strides on the Billboard Hot 100 singles charts and achieving gains in songwriting credits, women are still severely underrepresented when it comes to being credited music producers. Last year, Billboard and Bose introduced this award to expand the recognition for the different roles that women play in creating music.
This year’s recipient, PinkPantheress, is a multiplatinum recording artist and songwriter who has been producing her own music since college, and it’s been quite a ride for her. After going viral on TikTok with her song “Pain,” she debuted her music, she debuted her mixtape To Hell With It to critical acclaim. Her “Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2” featuring Ice Spice, another honoree tonight, was No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Streaming Songs Chart in March 2023. Oh, and she produced her debut album Heaven Knows, which was released in November. Producers know how to get things done.
